James was born and raised on the East Side of Buffalo, NY, an Olmsted Kid and Hutch-Tech Graduate. After receiving his degree from West Virginia University, he moved to Charlotte, NC in 2004 but has never forgotten where he's come from and will always call Buffalo "home".

A wearer of hats.....the 716 logo was designed to simply to be worn on his hats and represent where he's from. Then came the idea to 'rep the town' in other forms and hence 716 Gear was established for you to represent the City of Buffalo, surrounding areas, the 716 where ever you may be located and however you want.
